Add your church and the podcasts you love, and Shep gets to work. Their sermons and teaching become the foundation for every answer, devotional, and Bible study Shep creates — so everything stays grounded in voices you already trust, never a generic AI model.

Artwork shown identifies publicly available sermon and podcast feeds. Shep isn't affiliated with or endorsed by these churches or teachers. Devotionals and answers are generated by Shep, drawing on publicly available teaching.
One quiet rhythm, four ways to go deeper — shaped to the week you're actually living.

Hey — we're Matt and Kyle.
We've been friends for over twenty years, and a lot of that friendship has happened in late-night conversations about what it actually looks like to walk with Jesus.
Careers, wives, and six kids later, we're still having that conversation — and we kept bumping into the same thing. We know so many people who love the Lord and genuinely want to be in the Word every day. They start a plan. They mean it. So do we. But we kept hitting the same wall: the truth we needed was already out there — preached from a pulpit we trust, sitting in podcasts we'd listen to all week — and by Tuesday, the sermon was gone.
So we built Shep — a daily companion for Scripture that brings the voices you already trust into one place. A fresh devotional every morning, honest answers to your real questions, and deeper study — all of it drawn from your church and the teachers already shaping your faith.
We don't believe AI should interpret Scripture.
That's the work of the Holy Spirit, through pastors and believers wrestling with the text. Shep never generates its own theology. It only draws from the sermons and teachers you already trust — and it always shows its sources — so you can search faithfully and go deeper without shortcutting real spiritual formation.
We named it after the Good Shepherd — the one who walks with his sheep and keeps calling them back. Shep will never replace your pastor, your church, or your Bible. It just keeps pointing you back to them — deeper into Scripture, community, and prayer.

Shep is an AI-powered Bible study app that uses podcasts and sermons from voices you trust to deepen your bible study. Shep isn't just a chat bot-- it builds devotioals, surfaces insights, and answers your questions, all cited and sourced. Shep draws only from voices you already trust so that you can trust and verify the answers it gives you. Shep is built to help you grow closer to Christ, not shortcut your faith.
No — and we don't believe AI should. That's the work of the Holy Spirit, through pastors and believers wrestling with the text together. Shep is a librarian, not a teacher: it finds, summarizes, and organizes teaching from the voices you chose, shows its sources every time, and points you back into Scripture, community, and prayer.
You don't have to take Shep's word for anything. Shep only draws from the churches and teachers you chose to follow, and every devotional, answer, and study is cited back to their actual words — the sermon, the timestamp, the passage. Trust isn't something Shep asks for; it's something you already have in the voices you picked, and Shep just makes it easy to verify.
Most apps hand you a catalog of pre-written plans, or a generic AI that will answer any theology question from nowhere you trust. Shep does neither. Every devotional, answer, and study is built for you — sourced from the churches and teachers you chose, cited back to their actual words, never the open internet.
That's up to you. A morning devotional fits a full schedule, but Shep is built for going deeper — ask a follow-up question, trace a theme across books, or sit with a whole sermon when you have the time.
Any church that publishes sermons through RSS podcast feeds can be connected to Shep. During setup, you search for your church or paste a feed URL. If your church shares sermons online, it works with Shep.
Yes — Shep is a paid subscription, and you can start with a free 3-day trial. Building devotionals and studies from real sermons and answering your questions well takes real computing power behind the scenes. A subscription lets us keep that quality high, stay independent, and keep pointing you back to Scripture rather than selling your attention.
Shep is available on iPhone and iPad today, with desktop web access coming soon. If you're interested in an android version, let us know.
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Shep to cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period.
